Join our team as a Respiratory Therapist within our Respiratory Therapy department at Scripps Mercy San Diego. Our Mercy hospitals are home to notable specialty services, including a 24-hour emergency room that is a Level I Trauma Center, outpatient physical rehabilitation, minimally invasive robotic surgery, and our childbirth unit (including a Level II neonatal intensive care unit). In collaboration with other caregivers, the Respiratory Therapist assesses, plans, implements and evaluates actions for respiratory care. Performs all technical diagnostic and therapeutic procedures related to respiratory care. Performs other core responsibilities necessary to maintain the flow of patient care and comfort in the unit. Responds to critical situations. Utilizes computer systems in performing position duties. Adheres to Hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Participates in Quality Control, preventative maintenance and performance improvement activities.
This position is a Part Time position with varied Night shift (3 - 12 hour shifts per 2 week pay period) located at our Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego.
